Materials Management

What is it?
MEDITECH’s Materials Management (MM) solution allows users to process inventory routines on our handheld mobile tablet for real-time use. Once the tablet is purchased, it has software pre-installed that allows you access into MEDITECH MM without 3rd party software. MEDITECH’s MM software is then tailored to produce files adhering to MEDITECH’s specifications. Once processed on the mobile tablet, files are uploaded into the MEDITECH system. Inventory quantity is adjusted and General Ledger accounts are hit.

How can you get it?
ACS MediHealth’s mobile functionality comes standard with all MM installations. We encourage testing to begin immediately after applications training to ensure that the functionality is fully operational for LIVE. If you plan on using clinical-grade rugged tablets and do not currently have a device, it is best to reach out to ACS MediHealth so that we can provide a demo device (at no cost) to begin your testing. This will allow for ample time to decide on a tablet and procure it prior to applications training.
